Whether you‘re a current patient or looking to become a patient, we're here to help.
Interested in becoming a patient?
In order to ensure that our practice is an appropriate fit for you and your specific needs, our team requires an introductory screening call for all potential new patients. To get in touch, please call (404) 737-9231 or fill out the contact us form below.
We always aim to return calls within 24 business hours.
Your psychiatrist/therapist/primary care doctor may also fax a referral to (404) 844-5269; however, this is not required.
Hunter Clinics does not provide emergency or crisis services. Our website, phone lines, patient portal, email, and messaging are not monitored outside of business hours and should never be used to report an emergency.
If you are experiencing a medical or mental health emergency – including thoughts of harming yourself or others, or any symptom you believe may be severe or life-threatening – call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room immediately.
For mental health crisis support, call or text 988 to reach the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, or call the Georgia Crisis & Access Line (GCAL) at 1-800-715-4225. Both are free, confidential, and available 24/7.

Frequently Asked Questions
At Hunter Clinics, we take the phrase “better, together" seriously. Whether you are an existing patient, a new potential patient who is exploring treatment options, or you simply want to learn more about what we have to offer, our team is here to support you. Here are the answers to some of the most commonly asked questions about who we are, how we work, and what you can expect as a Hunter Clinics patient.
-
Often, yes. Many of our patients come to us after standard treatment hasn't fully worked. Dr. Hunter has led TMS and interventional psychiatry programs in Atlanta since 2017, and Hunter Clinics offers both TMS and Spravato® for depression that hasn't adequately responded to prior treatment, alongside precision medication management and evidence-based psychotherapy.
-
We accept most major commercial insurance plans and some Medicare plans. For in-network plans, we bill at the in-network level and you're responsible for your deductible, copay, or coinsurance. For out-of-network plans, payment is due at time of service, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit for reimbursement. We verify benefits at your first visit whenever possible.
-
In order to ensure the right fit for your needs, Hunter Clinics requires an introductory screening with all prospective new patients. To get started, call our offices at 404-737-9231, or you can request a timely callback by completing the above form with your name and contact information.
-
Your first visit entails a full, personalized evaluation. We review your history, prior treatment, and current symptoms, and walk you through validated assessments that shape your care plan from day one. If TMS or Spravato® is a fit for your clinical picture, your provider will discuss candidacy and next steps during this visit.
